Honolulu Community Action Program's (HCAP's) 

assists income-eligible families and individuals by reducing their energy costs and addressing health and safety issues in their homes through energy-efficiency measures. Qualified applicants receive a home energy audit and individualized energy conservation education and may receive applicable energy saving devices (like Pro Power saver keywords to use at Walmart Amazon or Temu.com or Fuel Saver plugs into the Odometer (OD2 in the car to save 15% of fuel) free of charge. 

 

no need 80hr/month work order with therapist and mental health diagnosis also get up to $4,127/month depending on how much you worked in your life like the retirement math, and medicare, medicais SNAP and free financial explained here: 

 

1. no 80hr/month work order with free financial and medicare activated.

4. use 211 call in any state for non profit organization that helps with utilities and past due rent and utilities.

5. call 988 and they will transport you or the homeless to an emergency shelter

6. Due to reactivating free medical and free food SNAP and via the free financial, your health care provider with medicaid, call them their health care provider like United Health Care Medicaid number and ask for a Community Coordinator who can assign to you a Housing Navigator (who is also called a Social worker (LSW Lisenced Social Worker) or a CIS casemanger. A housing navigator to help get you into housing. 

 

and transportation to medical and non medical services, the Community Coordinator also helps you get food, clothes, shoes, shelter)

and LTSS for Seniors which is at Home care, 

Meals delivery, senior activities and meals together, also transportation.

 

apply online for both financial (general assistance) and SNAP 

https://www.fna.usda.gov/snap/state-directory click your state, click SNAP website there is an online application for SNAP in each state. for hawaii its: 

pais-benefits.dhs.hawaii.gov 

 

You need to apply for free financial which is G.A (General Assistance) or you will have to do the 80hr/month work order. Which is Volunteering or at least 20 hr per week of a part time job. 

 

You will receive in the mail the (EBT card called for example Cal fresh in California) and also from the Waipahu (city and state) Processing Center (as keywords on google to find your local EBT Processing Center, to go-to an appointment, if you would like an over the phone appointment, call the EBT numbers 1-855-643-1643 and have your case number, its on the letter from type your city and then Processing Center, give them your case number and ask for an appointment over the phone.

 

Tell them the reason you have not been working is because of social anxiety you get frazzled and can't remember tasks. They will then send you a paper to see a therapist. 

 

Go-to medicaid.gov click Learn how to apply, Click your State and apply online application, and apply for medical, it's retroactive to the day you applied. Then UHC (United Health Care is good), goto UHC provider directory and look up a therapist. 

 

Schedule a telehealth appointment, just say you have social anxiety and get frazzled, have trouble remembering tasks, to get better is journaling, listening to music.

 

Then email the therapist the letter from EBT Processing center and put in the email, "im in a situation where i need the financial, and need it this month" so the therapist will turn in the paper to Cyrca that month instead of the one week before the three months later date that they put on the paper. The people at Cyrca told me to tell the therapist to turn it in earlier due to the three months later date on the paper. 

 

Within that month goto ebt edge app and you should have $430/month in SNAP (free food) and $410/month in free financial (G.A). 

 

To ensure you don't need the 80hr/month work order to receive Medicaid, print a copy if the General Assistance, and send to Medicaid Office look up on google.com address of your local medicaid office. 

 

Send the G.A copy to medicaid so you don't need the 80hr/month work order for free financial.

 

When you get General Assistance you qualify for SSI (Supplemental Security Income) is $994/month which takes 8 months to process application, and you qualify because you are receiving General Assistance, due to you seeing a therapist.

 

—--Supplemental Security Income (SSI)-----

 

Apply for SSI by calling your local SSA 1 (800) 772-1213 (or the main number) to schedule an over the phone interview, put on Alarm Beyond app (is a calendar alarm app). and in google calendar. 

 

Tell them you are seeing a therapist and they might want a copy from your therapist of a mental health diagnosis (social anxiety).

 

SSA (Social Security Administration) will probably send a prepaid envelope so you can print up a copy of your benefits (income) go to the SNAP online application click see issued benefits then click print and save as pdf (download files app by google).

you can email yourself your income and therapist letter, go-to any Library ask for the guest pass (its a piece of paper, to input into the computer for 1 hour of computer usage, and you are allowed to four guest passes per day also is free printing with the guest pass).

 

if the SSA sends a letter to have a representative payee, use a non profit organization that has representative payees call 211 for the number. 

 

you can become self as representative payee later by getting a letter of recommendation from your therapist.

 

So once you get SSI, they will stop the G.A (General Assistance) benefits.

 

—--SSDI—--

 

if you worked for example in your lifetime you made $500,000 from working at different places throughout life, then SSDI which you qualify for by having General Assistance. Apply for SSDI and you will receive the top benefits $4,167/month. So even if you have SSI apply for SSDI, they will switch to the higher amount is SSDI for you due to how much you worked in lifetime. Unlike SSI which takes 8 months SSDI takes 13 months or 160 days.

 

Apply online ssa.gov/disability they will send you a copy of the online application for you to fill by hand, put i have social anxiety i cannot remember tasks, complete tasks or understand tasks cause of social anxiety. I get frazzled and is why i dont have a job. they will ask you to establish representative payee. you can make self as representative payee later ask therapist for a letter of recommendation and give to local SSA office with application to be self as representative payee. 

 

give your local Social Security Administration Office a copy of your general assistance, go-to https://www.fna.usda.gov/snap/state-directory your states SNAP website and print out and send to local SSA office, so you don't need to see the doctor they set up.

Apply for free medical at the same time medicaid.gov click Learn how to apply, Click State, i would choose United Health Care (UHC as your health care provider for Medicaid)

 

Apply also for SSI at the same time as G.A and medicaid by calling your local Social Security office, Hawaii is the Ala Moana Social Security Administration office number 1 (800) 772-1213, schedule over the phone appointment to get SSI. 

 

Unlike SSI which takes 8 months SSDI takes 13 months or 160 days. and after receiving SSDI (160 days later), 120 days after, they give you medicare 

 

UHC has good dental $4300 per year for crowns, tooth implants not covered on HMSA advantage dual only on UHC (United Health Care dual is medicaid and medicare). 

 

So you would get UHC medicaid and UHC dual medicare for good dentist benefits and no copayment on things covered, if not covered there is $4,300/year for crowns, partials, tooth implants, bone filler (for abscesses).

 

UnitedHealthcare (UHC) Medicaid provides unlimited non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) to covered health appointments, pharmacies, and urgent care centers. Rides are managed by MTM Health. To book a ride, call 1-888-777-3844 or visit the MTM Health Portal at least 1 day in advance.

 

UHC MTM Health, you can schedule drop off transportation and pick up transportation back to house, because you have UHC medicaid.
